When you break these Piñata Cookies open, all kinds of tiny candies will come pouring out. Just like a real Piñata!

How to Play

Sara will show you exactly what to do. The game is divided into easy steps:

• Mix & Color: First, she’ll show you how to make sugar cookie dough. Divide the dough into six portions and mix in your favourite rainbow colors.
• Chill the Dough: Stack the layers of dough in a container. Press them together and leave it in the fridge overnight to chill.
• Bake the Cookies: Ask a grown-up to help you with this step! Cut the dough into thin slices and bake them in the oven for 12 minutes at 175ºC (350ºF).
• Cut the Shapes: Ask a grown-up to help you with this step, too! Because you have to stamp out the shapes with a cookies cutter while the dough is still hot.
• Put the Candy Inside: Glue the cookies together with yummy frosting. The middle layer has a little hollow pocket cut out. Glue two layers together, pour the candy in the opening, and stick the last cookie on top.

Let the cookies rest for 30 minutes so that they can harden out. Now, you can snap them in two and all the candy will come tumbling out! What a fun surprise!
