Green tea ice cream is sometimes also called matcha ice cream. It’s made using matcha, a special type of powdered green tea. It’s one of the most popular ice cream flavours in Japan. 

With its vivid green color, matcha ice cream certainly makes for an eye-catching desert. The recipe is included in this game, so if you have an ice cream maker, you can try making it at home, too!

How to play Green Tea Ice Cream: Sara’s Cooking Class?

To start cooking, move the items you need to the kitchen counter. The items you need are shown in the lower left corner. Tap on the cupboards and the fridge to open them and look inside. 

• First, prepare some matcha green tea using matcha powder and hot water.
• Next, you can prepare the ice cream base. Mix some egg yolks and sugar, then add milk. Heat the mixture on the stove on low heat, stirring constantly. When the mixture has become thicker, turn off the stove and let it cool.
• Mix the ice cream base with the matcha mixture. Stir it with a whisk. Add some heavy whipped cream and stir the mixture again.
• Churn the mixture in an ice cream maker. Pour it into a tub and put it in the freezer. Take it out after 2 hours and stir it with a spoon. Put it back into the fridge for another two hours, and then stir it again. Then, put it back into the freezer and leave it overnight.

Your ice cream will be firm and ready to serve the next morning. Drizzle sweet fudge sauce on top and decorate your ice cream with cherries and crispy wafer cookies.
